We’re growing 3x per year in the UK, supporting 80+ financial services companies, and monitoring 100+ calls per minute. As we scale, we’re looking for passionate individuals to help shape the future of AI-driven compliance monitoring.
People Management / Talent Development:
- Partner with team leads to support employee growth, retention, and engagement.
- Build and implement strategies to foster a strong, inclusive company culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on people-related topics.
Performance Management:
- Develop and manage performance review processes to drive individual and team excellence.
- Establish feedback systems to ensure alignment with company goals and employee development.
- Guide managers on employee performance improvement plans, where necessary.
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead end-to-end hiring processes, from posting roles to onboarding new hires.
- Work with hiring managers to define job roles, craft job descriptions, and create hiring pipelines.
- Utilise tools like Workable to identify, engage, and secure top talent globally.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage salary benchmarking, review cycles, and ensure equity across roles and locations.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration using tools like Deel.
- Regularly review and improve Voyc’s employee benefits package to attract and retain talent.
Contracts & Compliance:
- Draft, review, and manage employment contracts for full-time and freelance team members across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations in all markets where we operate.
- Oversee the documentation of employee policies and procedures.
Policies & Documentation:
- Establish and maintain HR policies, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements.
- Manage our company handbook and centralise documentation using Notion.
- Develop scalable processes for onboarding, offboarding, and internal role changes.
Operational Tools & Systems:
- Own and optimise people operations software like Notion, Deel, and Workable to ensure efficiency.
- Regularly evaluate tools and systems to improve workflow and automate manual processes.
Requirements
Who You Are
- Experience: You have 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a similar role, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment.
- Strategic & Tactical: You can craft people strategies while rolling up your sleeves to implement them.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using tools like Notion, Deel, and Workable (or similar).
- Problem Solver: You excel at identifying challenges and finding effective, scalable solutions.
- Empathetic & Approachable: You care deeply about people and are a natural at building trust and relationships.
Organised: You manage multiple priorities and deadlines effortlessly.
Success Metrics for This Role:
As the People Operations Manager, success will be measured by the following key performance indicators:
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Maintain high engagement and retention rates through effective talent development initiatives.
- Performance Management: Ensure 100% completion of performance reviews and continuous improvement in team performance.
- Talent Acquisition Efficiency: Achieve optimal time-to-hire, quality of hire, and offer acceptance rates.
- Compensation & Compliance: Maintain 100% accuracy in payroll, contracts, and compliance with labour laws.
- Operational Excellence: Drive adoption and utilisation of tools like Notion, Deel, and Workable to improve efficiency and automation.
- Cultural Impact: Improve employee satisfaction, onboarding experience, and eNPS scores
