Senior Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Engineer - PLSQL

What you'll be doing:

• ERP Application Development: Design, develop, test, and implement complex processes for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications.

• Integration: Integrate ERP applications with other custom applications across production and development environments.

• Functional Specifications: Gather and analyze functional specifications to design, develop, and customize interfaces, reports, and extensions to support business requirements and align with architectural vision.

• Project Coordination: Coordinate and deliver technical components for projects through the software development life cycle. Validate completeness of estimates, quality, and accuracy of technical designs, as well as build and implementation plans.

• End-User Support: Provide end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving application and business process issues, including incidents logged by business users.

• Best Practices: Build and maintain knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

• Adopt New Technologies: Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies to meet existing needs and predict future challenges.

What we are looking for:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of related experience.

  • Or a master’s degree in aforementioned fields with 6 years of related experience.

• Experience:

  • Oracle EBS: 8 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 as a techno-functional consultant.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, SQL performance tuning, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Application Development Framework (ADF), XML Publisher, and Forms & Reports.

  • Module Expertise: 5 years of experience in multiple Oracle EBS modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, iReceivables, iExpenses, General Ledger, Order Management, Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, and additional knowledge of other modules.

  • Customization: 5 years of experience developing interfaces, reports, and extensions using Oracle best practice methodology.

  • Project Implementation: 5 years of minimum experience supporting/implementing Oracle EBS R12 projects.

• Technical Skills:

  • Software Engineering Practices: Strong knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
