Senior Operations Manager - Digital Fulfillment

Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of digital fulfillment processes to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Implement best practices and innovative solutions.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure stock availability, accuracy and inventory records and timely replenishment.
- Utilize and manage digital fulfillment systems and technologies, ensuring they are effectively integrated and utilized to streamline operations.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for fulfillment operations, analyze data to drive decision-making, and report performance to senior management.
- Address and resolve fulfillment-related customer issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of problems.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure effective service delivery and maintain strong relationships.
- Contributes towards strategic planning efforts, including forecasting demand, scaling operations and implementing new fulfillment strategies and standards to support business growth.
- Ensure that digital fulfillment operation complies with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Manufacturing & Operation Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience
- Strong management and leadership abilities, including experience in team development, performance management and conflict resolution.
- Extensive experience in operations or supply chain management.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and techniques and ability to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and make data driven decisions.
