Senior Network Architect/Technologist, Remote US*

USA CT Home based (CSC Location)

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
• Lead and contribute to the design and architecture of infrastructure solutions, ensuring they meet client business needs.
• Collaborate with senior architects and IT leadership to implement infrastructure initiatives and provide thought leadership.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure components.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met and to facilitate communication between departments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct feasibility studies to assess their potential impact on the organization.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships and contracts to ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure services.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established infrastructure standards and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role years of relevant work experience in infrastructure architecture or related roles
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Effective communication and team leadership skills
• Proven experience in client/customer facing technical consulting roles
• Demonstrated success in implementing infrastructure architecture solutions in a large enterprise environment
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology

Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications (i.e., CCNP/CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.)
• Previous experience with project management methodologies like Agile or ITIL a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
