Senior Merchandiser, Search

GOAT Group is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to support the Digital Merchandising team in ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. The right Senior Merchandiser will have a technical and detail-oriented mindset, an ability to quickly learn internal tools and systems, a dedication to perfecting customer experiences and a deep interest in sneakers and fashion. 

The Senior Merchandiser will work across multiple brands and channels, with a focus on our search and browse experience on app and web. The position will work cross-functionally with the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to iterate on internal tools, optimize customer search flows and stay ahead of on- and off-site trends. 

In this role you will: 

• Be responsible for the strategy and upkeep of our search and browse experience
• Closely monitor and optimize the quality of the customer experience across multiple platforms
• Become the subject matter expert in our search tools and processes 
• Partner with the existing merchandising team to drive improvements to the search experience and tools
• Own reporting for on-site sneaker and apparel trends and performance 
• Partner with our SEO team on tracking off-site trends and optimizing search flows 

We are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 4-6 years of experience in digital merchandising or related field 
• Strong analytical skills, with an ability to present data clearly 
• Keen attention to detail and a technical mindset 
• Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills 
• Understanding of retail e-commerce 
• Ability to quickly learn internal systems 
• Proven ability to function well in a collaborative environment 
• Proficiency in SQL a plus
