Senior Marketing Content Specialist 

As a Senior Marketing Content Specialist you will be responsible for how MCG (and its subsidiary, ODG by MCG) tells the story of how evidence-based solutions are improving patient outcomes, creating efficiencies in clinical workflows, and transforming the health care delivery industry from a crisis into a strength. 

You will work with other departments within our organization to develop effective marketing pieces which amplify communication around our significant impact in health care while maintaining our brand consistency and voice. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting on content performance as well as other SEO/website/social media channel metrics.    

 

You will: 

  • Lead the project management, administration, and execution of complex marketing programs (i.e., supporting webinar events and collateral, supporting the completion of RFPs/RFIs, etc.) 
  • Periodically participate in team meetings or “Voice of the Customer” calls as well as helping to develop agendas and coordinate pre-meeting communication for these events 
  • Assist the Marketing Manager/Director with content formatting, creation, and distribution including (but not limited to) sell sheets, web copy, landing pages, social media posts/graphics, presentations, webinars, podcasts, white papers, videos, press releases, infographics, collateral for live events, etc. 
  • Support the Marketing Manager/Director with ideation, development, and execution of requests for proposals (RFPs) or requests for information (RFIs), as well as annual content calendars  
  • Compile and present monthly and quarterly reports to the MCG Marketing Team on various channel analytics and insights as well as ongoing content performance (and other metrics as assigned) 
  • Stay current on search engine, social media, and internet marketing industry trends for all relevant pre-determined market segments 
  • Execute on customer acquisition strategies/plans and support our Sales/Account Management Teams with new content requests 
  • Research new ideas in the content marketing space to inform the evolution of MCG’s content marketing strategy (year to year) 
  • Provide design and writing skills for internal and external projects which should adhere to our high level of quality and the MCG brand and style guide 
  • Optimize content for maximum impact on any given platform (digital, social, print, live presentation, video) 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design (or a related  
            field) 
  • 4-6 years of experience in a Marketing or Communications field with focus on creating original content and understanding of digital marketing best practices 
  • Detail-orientation with ability to deliver results in a timely fashion without compromising quality 
  • Passion for multi-channel content marketing with a strong eye for design 
  • Basic experience using Salesforce CRM as an inter-department collaborative tool 
  • Basic experience using a project management tool (Wrike preferred, WorkFront,  
            Confluence) 
  • Basic to mid-level understanding of HTML/CSS,  
  • Yoast SEO plug-in for WordPress is a plus 
  • General Experience with tools such as Google Analytics & Google Ads is a plus 
  • Knowledge of Camtasia (video editor) or Adobe Premier is a plus 
  • Occasional travel is a possibility (1-3 times a year) 
  • Excellent writing/proofing skills for branding adherence, collateral development, and marketing   copy (often with a clinical focus) 
  •  A keen eye for graphic design aesthetics and an inclination for creative thinking 
  • A high degree of versatility is required in this role along with experience being creative in multiple formats (including but not limited to digital, print, and audio/visual) 
  • The ability to create and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders is required in this role, and you will work with many diverse stakeholders both internal and external) 
  • An understanding of U.S. health care audiences is strongly preferred as our work relates to physicians, nurses, health plans, government entities, and health IT professionals (specifically software engineering and project management professionals 

 

 

Pay Range: $82,600 – $115,600  

 

Other compensation: Bonus Eligible
