Job Description:

The Senior Market Analyst is a key part of the DTN analysts team, which is integrated into the DTN Content newsroom. The Canada Grains Analyst leads DTN’s analysis and commentary on Canada grain markets for our Canadian customers as well as readers at large. This includes writing daily commentary as well as a markets blog. Analyst also works with DTN Lead Analyst and others on the analysis team to shape DTN’s view of the markets and is available to DTN reporters and editors when comments are needed for newsroom articles, videos, podcasts or other platforms.

What you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring Canada crop markets, as well as global markets, to provide analysis content for DTN products.
• Writing daily early morning and afternoon commentary and writing regular column on Canada market conditions and related news.
• Supporting analyst team as backup when needed.
• Representing the company and DTN’s official analysis in public speaking events, online events, internal and external news articles, media interviews, podcasts, videos and other platforms.
