The Senior Manager, Technology Deployment leads a team of program and project managers responsible for deploying R1 technology and tools to our clients, as a part of R1’s Client Technology and Data Enablement (CTDE) department.  Their primary focus will be to ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality deployments on schedule, maintaining a high-level of customer satisfaction.  This leader will be charged with standardizing methodology across all types of deployment and maintaining a repeatable process for all program and project managers to apply.  The Senior Manager will also be responsible for normalizing the data from these implementations into metrics for use across the R1 organization.

Here’s what you will experience working as a Senior Manager, Technology Deployment:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Program Managers and Project Managers to deliver consistent, efficient, and timely implementations
  • Accountable for maintaining a portfolio view of all inflight and upcoming Technology Deployments, managing related issues/risks proactively, and owning escalations to leadership
  • Track and present key reports and metrics that correspond with the project portfolio, with the ability to cater appropriately to the various audiences (internal/external, operational/executive, etc.)
  • Standardize, as much as possible, the methodology by which the Technology Deployment team sees their implementations through from start to finish, to ensure familiar artifacts, communications, and meetings for interactions with our clients and internal R1 teams
  • Own the SOW intake and finalization process to document scope of work assigned to Tech Deployment and various teams, ensuring clearly defined guardrails for each project and approvals from stakeholders
  • Continue the growth and development of the two team managers reporting to this role, as well as advise on the development plan for the full team.
  • Build and maintain a strong culture of succeeding together as a team, not as individuals

Required Skills:

  • Salesforce and Aprika Mission Control expertise is highly desired
  • Strong background in project and program management
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, coupled with a strong discovery skillset
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of solving problems creatively and independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator, comfortable interacting successfully with all levels of an organization (up to and including C-level leadership)
  • Servant leadership approach to leading others

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $116,133.00 - $173,605.10 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
