Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a team that supports USCYBERCOM's Joint Cyber Warfare Architect (JCWA) capabilities and systems? Peraton is looking for someone with a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions that will design, develop, and/or implement solutions while ensuring they are consistent with enterprise architecture security policies. Advise on the feasibility of potential future projects to the Program Manager and or Government Program Manager. As part of the team, the Senior System Engineer will be responsible for proactively leading architecture and development decision making and work effort across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensuring effective transitions to support for ongoing continuous improvement. Interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Assume the ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Active TS/SCI
  • Minimum of 5 years on agile software development projects, preferably within DoD
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related  discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s
  • Experience using modern MBSE tools (Cameo/NoMagic, DOORS, Rhapsody, SPARX, etc.)
  • INCOSE Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification
  • Experience with the application of systems engineering, model-based engineering, digital engineering methods and creative thought-leadership
  • Ability to work from government and contractor site, limited opportunity for working remotely

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Experience directly supporting or working at a Joint or Component Command Level
  • The ability to provide technical direction for the full systems engineering life cycle
  • Experience with Common Operating Picture, Situational Awareness Analytical Capabilities, or similar technologies
  • Experience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systems
  • Experience in leading agile development models
  • Experience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Apply
