JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Paid Media, Digital Banking is responsible for directly managing the paid search, paid social, and display campaigns for the Digital Banking team. This role plans and launches campaigns on search, social, and display platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, etc.) and works within each to manage and optimize campaigns post-launch with the goal of driving customer acquisition for Forbright Bank’s digital banking products. In addition, this role is responsible for executing a test and learn roadmap, implementing best practices, and reviewing customer and competitive trends to carry out campaign performance effectively and efficiently across paid media channels. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, launch, and manage Forbright Bank’s paid search, paid social, and display advertising strategies for its digital banking products
  • Optimize paid media campaigns to meet and/or exceed performance marketing goals through channel-specific levers, including but not limited to copy changes, keyword expansion, bid adjustments and automation, budget allocation, a/b testing, placement testing, etc.
  • Partner with our Martech, Data, and Analytics teams to enhance our tagging and tracking
  • Develop/improve daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to capture data and insights required for daily analysis, efficient campaign management, and regular communication
  • Maintain/enhance partnerships with third party vendors to unlock growth and insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop audience targeting strategy
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to the Marketing and Digital Banking team, offering insights into media performance and advocating for necessary support to enhance campaign performance
  • Assist with the development and execution of paid media test and learn roadmap and regularly analyze and report out on results
  • Handle trafficking and QA support for campaign launches and campaign changes
  • Manage campaign pre-launch and post-launch documentation in accordance with control procedures
  • Identify and help establish new traffic source opportunities, both directly with media publishers and new ad networks
  • Collaborate with creative resources to provide feedback on creative assets, specifically providing guidance on paid media best practices for creative
  • Oversee and manage paid media campaign budget pacing
  • Stay updated with search, social, and display trends, tools, and best practices to continuously refine paid media strategy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent education, experience, and related training required
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of building and directly managing paid search, paid social, and display campaigns
  • In-depth knowledge of paid media vendors, including but not limited to Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, DV360, and Tradedesk
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data driven decisions
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn, and iterate in order to get the best results possible
  • Experience identifying, recommending, and implementing paid media optimizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills
  • Capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with ad copy writing and editing and/or working with agency or other creative and content partners
  • Proficiency with developing and monitoring tagging and tracking strategies – including tag rules, UTM creation, UTM management, etc.
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-budget paid media campaigns directly  Ability to be a self-starter, flexible, and adaptive
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Campaign Manager, and Google Analytics
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the Bank
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, DV360, Tradedesk, or other relevant platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Experience in banking or financial services highly desirable
  • Passion for paid media, analyzing data, optimizing campaigns, and working in a fast-paced environment 
The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Salary is negotiable. $100,000 (entry level qualifications) to $120,000 (highly experienced).
