How you will make an impact:
In this role, you'll be essential to driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Iterable Orders to Cash Operations. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Accounting, you will help build and operate best in class, scalable order management, invoicing, usage billing and collections functions to support our rapid growth. You will also have opportunities to play a pivotal role in system implementations and related ptimization projects. In this role you’ll get to:
- Review and process customer order forms into ERP system to ensure accurate and timely billings
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606 for revenue recognition)
- Collaborate with deals desk to ensure that contractual commercial terms are accurately represented in SFDC/CPQ and NetSuite
- Reinforce a customer-centric culture in our organization that builds highly collaborative relationships with Sales, Finance, Deal Desk Operations and Senior Leadership.
- Be a hands-on and versatile team player that can perform various tasks ranging from routine close procedures to ad-hoc projects
- Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as team productivity, DSO, AR aging and process bottlenecks within collection and order-to-cash.
- Manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable department, including invoicing, cash application, credit control, and dispute resolution
- Monitor and analyze the accounts receivable aging reports, identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies, and ensure compliance with the company's credit policies
- Serve as the primary contact for customers experiencing issues with billing and/or AR aging.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts receivable reports, reconciliations, and journal entries, and provide accurate and timely financial information to management
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable processes, systems, and controls, and ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of the accounts receivable staff, and provide guidance and training as needed
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, sales, customer service, and other departments, and handle any escalated issues or inquiries
- Work closely with the Director of Revenue Accounting to drive execution of initiatives to support revenue growth and optimization
We are looking for people who have:
- Experience with quote to cash systems including Salesforce, Workato, and NetSuite
- Combines the ability to “get into the weeds” and develop and implement best-in-class process strategies
- Strong understanding of billing models, including SaaS subscription, and usage/overages-based.
- Understanding of basic GAAP accounting and ASC 606 principles.
- Previous experience recommending and implementing process improvements
- Understanding of and experience with revenue recognition in software industry a plus
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional organization and time management skills, and ability to work autonomously
- Ability to forecast issues and identify trends early, evaluate alternatives and implement comprehensive and innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and resolve customer billing issues efficiently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $113,500 - $170,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.
Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
