This position will be based in the United States, working remotely. Reporting directly to the Raytheon International Security Associate Director, Global Security Service. This position is responsible for the coordination, management, and oversight of security programs supporting international operations. Occasional business travel will be required to international countries where Raytheon has facilities and/or personnel, as well as in the United States. The position is high profile and fast-paced that requires a security professional with experience across multiple security disciplines including but not limited to: international security requirements; counterintelligence, physical security planning; executive protection, personnel/force protection practices, security procedures related to “controlled” documents/information and addressing specific program related security requirements/concerns.
You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing security plans, programs and strategies while providing operational support to the business units, programs and other RAY functions within this region. The manager will be responsible for liaison with program security and other personnel while devising cost-effective and client-oriented security initiatives designed to implement RAY global security standards, policies and practices as well as customer directed security requirements and/or plans.
You will successfully develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, host country police/security/intelligence elements, US Government/OSAC, peer companies and senior management across the region. Strong interpersonal skills, sound decision-making skills and the ability to take independent actions while maintain a strong customer service and cultural awareness approach will be essential to your success.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and collaborate with stakeholders to create, revise and update policies and strategic risk assessments for current and projected business initiatives/locations.
- Develop and execute support to international travel requirements: coordinate with vendors, overseers and travelers for travel approvals; design and brief all levels of RAY travelers.
- Coordinate international evacuation operations, working with vendors and employees.
- Develop and update site surveys to include but not limited to, actual/proposed work locations, hotels, compounds.
- Assist programs in assessing current and potential security threats, develop risk mitigation strategies and security plans, and evaluate effectiveness of established security programs by applying international security expertise.
- Collaborate with other Business Unit and Special Business Unit partners in expanding program(s) that provides security communications, guidance and best practices (routine and emergency) to the expatriate and in-travel communities.
- Coordinate with Business Resilience Crisis Management in facilitating organizations within the region to develop their International Incident Response Plan (IIRP) and regionally based Table Top Exercises.
- As needed develop relationships with key government and law enforcement/intelligence officials, private sector counterparts, US Embassy/OSAC elements and security vendors to ensure appropriate knowledge and ability to support security requirements and services.
- Travel is expected to be approximately 40% of the time.
- Provide direct support to programs and personnel by way of managing security-related incidents, investigations, potential counterintelligence incidents, and crisis-management. In addition, provide tailored threat briefings to in country and business travelers when deemed necessary.
- When required provide security support and coordination for Sr. Leadership travel to the region.
- Work in concert with EXIM to develop physical security mitigation plans to meet USG and RTX standards related to protection of “controlled” information.
- Provide support, guidance and assistance with Raytheon Enterprise Supplier Evaluations (RESA) efforts.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or similar curriculum and a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military, or government information security programs
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET SCI clearance with polygraph prior to start date, U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- International security experience, preferably having lived and worked overseas.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining wide-ranging security programs and processes.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Corporate Security experience.
- Crisis Management and emergency planning experience.
- Experience with project management.
- Knowledge of Defense Industry environment and business objectives.
- Budget experience and fiscal discipline.
- Experience with classified programs, EXIM/ITAR/NISPOM requirements.
- Prior Law Enforcement, Intelligence and/or Military experience.
