Senior Manager, Internal Events - Remote US

As Vanta’s Senior Manager, Internal Events, you will have operational oversight over Vanta’s key company-wide events and offsites, including our yearly Company Kick-Off.

Who is Vanta? At Vanta, our mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease.

In this role, you’ll engage with all of Vanta’s teams in order to lead the operations for critical internal company events, including our Company Kick-Off and key offsites (like our Leadership offsites). You will have oversight over the full internal events budget, and help teams allocate budget and resources to their own smaller offsites. You will also have access to cross-functional teams, like our EA team and our events marketing team, to help with event operations. Over time, we expect you would also take over our internal events strategy and build an appropriate team as the company scales.

What you’ll do:

  • Set and drive the internal event strategy for our remote-first, global company

  • Together with our C-level executives, develop a scalable QBR program to accelerate the business

  • Operationalize, leading internal and external resources, Vanta’s key company events every year, including our annual Company Kick-Off and regular Leadership/Extended Leadership offsites.

  • Provide oversight and visibility for all internal events, particularly to our People, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Internal Communications teams

  • Lead and coordinate execution of all internal events, marshaling resources from across the company, including our Workplace, EA, and Marketing teams

  • Produce frameworks and toolkits to allow teams to hold smaller events (e.g., team offsites) by themselves within the internal events budget, including internal events executed by other teams.

  • Take full ownership of Vanta’s company internal events budget, optimize that budget, and provide visibility over it to our Finance team

  • Contribute to owned and external events in partnership with our Marketing team

  • Act as a layer of accountability and facilitation, pairing with our internal comms team, in programming the content for our internal events, working with our team leaders to provide necessary materials in advance of events

How to be successful in this role:

  • Meaningful (8+ years) prior experience operationalizing internal events, either in-house, agency or a combination of both

  • Strong communication skills, including planning and executing internal events that map to external corporate narratives to drive company-wide alignment

  • Experience managing large budgets and planning/coordinating a large scale internal events calendar (including executing major events) for a rapidly growing company

  • Communicate wins and ask for help when necessary / additional information is required

  • You're a self-starter who loves working across different teams in the company for alignment and clarity.

What you can expect as a Vanta’n:

  • Industry-competitive compensation

  • 100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage

  • 16 weeks fully-paid parental Leave for all new parents

  • Health & wellness and remote workplace stipends

  • 401(k) matching

  • Flexible work hours and location

  • Open PTO policy

  • 9 paid holidays in the US

About Vanta

We started in 2018, in the wake of several high-profile data breaches. Online security was only becoming more important, but we knew firsthand how hard it could be for fast-growing companies to invest the time and manpower it takes to build a solid security foundation.

Vanta was inspired by a vision to restore trust in internet businesses by enabling companies to improve and prove their security.

From our early days automating security monitoring for compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001 to creating the world's leading Trust Management Platform, our vision remains unchanged.

Now more than ever, making security continuous—not just a point-in-time check— is essential. Thousands of companies rely on Vanta to build, maintain and demonstrate their trust— all in a way that's real-time and transparent.
