Nestlé Nutrition R&D Centers, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager Innovation & Strategy in Bridgewater NJ
Duties:
Responsible for driving development of innovation in research and development (“R&D”) to deliver incremental growth. Work closely with innovation and brand managers to identify candidates for R&D projects and support the final selection process. Drive project preparation prior to kick off which includes project scoping, timeline management, stakeholder on-boarding, team member selection, budgeting, and identification of expert resources. Effectively network within R&D and commercial communities to stay on top of trends for the benefit of R&D projects and development of potential future projects. Guide optimization of processes and structure to help build and establish the R&D program. Test, identify, and implement new approaches to drive and deliver innovation. Lead teams to transform ideas into product test launches in 6 months including development of the product profile, research plan, and profit-loss statement. Identify and manage hurdles to success and provide internal updates. Lead and coach the team to create a consumer and shopper-driven, scalable MVP (minimum viable product) that can be tested in a real-world environment. Provide appropriate communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding progress of new initiatives. Lead post-closure follow-up with stakeholders to ensure completion of approved transfer plan to commercial team.
Salary: $191,065.00 - $201,065.00 per year
Requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or in brand management within the healthcare or food and beverage fields. Job requires 5 years of experience in each of the following:
• Working with new product concept development, validation and launches;
• Leading innovation and brand strategy within the healthcare or food and beverage fields;
• Leading cross-functional teams supporting consumer care, medical, and Vitamins Minerals Health Supplements (VMHS) categories;
• Testing new approaches to research;
• Coaching and leading teams through the innovation process, using methodologies such as design thinking, lean startup, or agile;
• Creating strategic frameworks to illuminate future opportunities across consumer care, medical and Vitamins Minerals Health Supplements (VMHS) categories;
• Conducting qualitative research moderation including in-depth interviews, consumer discussion groups, at-home testing, and digital ethnography;
