Providence is calling a Senior Manager Finance who will:

  • Support local ministry/entity leadership teams 
  • Serve on local leadership committees as assigned
  • Be responsible for financial analysis and modeling in order to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs 
  • Propose recommendations for achieving financial goals and budgetary targets
  • Provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Develop analytical reports to assist in enhancing process improvements and increasing efficiencies
  • Serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders
  • Be responsible for development of financial plans and budgets as assigned by manager and departmental needs
  • Support month-end review of financial statements 
  • Supervise appropriate finance staff

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field of study
  • 8+ years of closely related finance experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • HFMA or FACHE certifications
  • 6+ years of experience in a leadership role or capacity

Salary Range by Location: 

  • California: Humboldt: Min:$67.28, Max: $108.30 
  • California: All Northern California - Except Humboldt: Min:$75.49, Max: $121.51 
  • California: All Southern California - Except Bakersfield: Min:$67.28, Max: $108.30 
  • California: Bakersfield: Min:$64.55, Max: $103.90

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
