Senior Manager, Eyefinity Business Analysis

The Sr Manager of Eyefinity Business Analysis manages the strategy, processes, and execution of the business analysis function, to deliver products, services and business results that support the organization’s goals and strategies.

Own and drive the business analysis function and team, collaborating with product management, UX design, engineering, and other cross-functional teams

Establish clear goals for deliverables, skills, and behaviors, and actively manage performance of team members to drive accountability for individuals and the overall team

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with peers; provide business partners and key executives with customer perspective and facilitate timely response to complex business challenges and opportunities

Provide prompt and objective feedback, coaching, and counseling, including corrective action plans as appropriate

Develop and execute on strategies to expand and formalize optical industry expertise within and outside the team, with an emphasis on enabling more self-service access to subject matter expertise for internal and external audiences

Ensure that there is an adequate backlog of product requirements, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of engineering and other cross-functional teams

Ensure that product requirements generated by the team are clear, complete, and concise, and contain relevant customer and business context

Establish skills and tools to support collection of customer and company success metrics, and leverage these metrics for product strategy, requirements definition, and post-release monitoring and validation purposes

Maintain process and methodology skills within the team, including agile principles, business analysis fundamentals, modern product discover techniques, and the product operating model

Provide clear and concise communication and status reporting to manager and other key stakeholders

Seek out process improvements that result in administrative cost savings without a negative impact to the quality of service provided to customers or stakeholders, with emphasis on efficiency of meetings and the overall discovery process

Contribute to the development of department and company strategic and tactical goals, initiatives, and objectives

Coordinate with other units/departments to facilitate special requests, resolve workflow issues, production issues, and escalated customer inquiries

Be alert to customer trends and potential problems developing that negatively impact service and resolve issues as appropriate. Recommend and implement procedural and system changes to deliver quality service to internal and external customers
