The Opportunity: 

Talk about a transformation! Commvault is now leading the charge in cyber resilience. We’re helping thousands of organizations rapidly recover from devastating cyberattacks and prepare for cyber threats in ways no other vendor can match. We’ve had strong company performance, we’re Leaders – many times over – in critical industry analyst reports, and the business media are taking notice. But this is where you come into play. We need to take our solid level of awareness with business media to an entirely new level, where corporate story telling is the name of the game.

What You’ll Do: 

·Create an in-depth business media strategy that is bold, informed, and measurable

·Execute on this strategy, delivering major “hits” every quarter across broadcast and digital business press that drive outsized awareness for Commvault

·Play a high-profile role in media relations tied to earnings, M&A, legal and HR matters

·Position Commvault as a thought leader with business media across a wide range of topics: cyber resilience, data compliance / governance, AI, workplace matters

·Partner closely with other members of the global PR team, finance, investor relations, legal, analyst relations, executive and internal comms, social media

·Interface with Commvault’s executive team

Who You Are:

·Skilled: Love the business press and have the relationships to prove it; excel at developing narratives and themes that resonate externally

·Scrappy: Must have experience in creating and executing a comms strategy that delivers business press with companies of our size– anywhere from $750M - $3B in revenue

·Collaborative: While this is an individual contributor role, you excel at quickly building relationships internally up and with our PR firm of record

·Influential: A trusted advisor to senior executives, adaptable to personality types

·Bold: Go big or go home; humble yet determined

·Protective: Take calculated risks, but never lose sight of protecting the brand

·Team-player: Leave the ego, politics, and drama at the door: we are all in this together

Experience:

·Senior manager: 8-10 years of relevant experience

·Relevant experience can include a mix of in-house, agency, and journalism experience. For the senior manager position, in-house experience is preferred, but not required.

$134,300 - $247,300
