Job DetailsThe Senior Manager, Contracts role is responsible for managing the contracts domestically, as well as a team of contract specialists. This role oversees the review of agreements, handling the administration and customer contact activities associated with contract execution and processing in accordance with company policies, legal and compliance requirements, and customer specifications. This role is responsible for the accuracy and consistency of contract content through coordination and validation with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this role is responsible for the tracking and reporting of contract status, and for maintaining and updating systems to ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of data at all times.
Responsibilities
Manages contracts and monitors quality, workflow and timing of output, and manages a team of contract specialists contributing to these workflows.
Prepares, reviews, and evaluates Service Agreements (AKA MSAs), vendor agreements, statements of work, amendments, non-disclosure agreements and letter agreements/letters of intent prior to signature to ensure accuracy and interpret and influence performance requirements, delivery obligations, timelines, costs, and payment schedules with the goal of minimizing exposure to risk.
Works closely with legal and manages the relationships with Finance and other subject matter experts to validate content and context of contract; researches and resolves inconsistencies in a timely manner.
Provides guidance to internal and external customers as it relates to revisions made in contracts and/or Company’s position as it relates to specific matters.
Assesses and identifies the need for legal review; works with in-house attorneys by setting and managing continuously changing priorities as well as customer expectations.
Works with and is continually enhancing process-related software to ensure the contracting process is complete, accurate and timely.
Fields inquiries from team leads, client managers, and project managers regarding contracting policies, procedures, risks, and contract status.
Ensures training of contract specialists as it relates to development and growth in review of different types of agreements, company policies, etc.
Leads tracking and reporting as dictated by individual client requirements.
Provides other tracking and reporting as defined and required including Finance and the Leadership Team, as requested.
Oversees the maintenance of content library of commonly used contract formats, special terms and conditions, and other client-specific requirements.
Actively seeks knowledge regarding the rapidly evolving health care compliance landscape.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
Requires training and understanding in fields such as legal, business administration, accountancy, marketing or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four (4) year Bachelor's Degree Program; requires direct experience in contracting environment of at least six (6)+ years with working knowledge of reading, writing and understanding the effect of legal terms and conditions. Experience in healthcare industry consulting environment preferred.

Full timeSalary Range*$86,500 - 123,860*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
