ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Manager of Career Success at Fullstack Academy, you will lead the efforts to grow the impact we have for our students and alums. You’ll lead a team of Career Success processionals as they serve students across our campuses and programs. You’ll build systems and processes to ensure that we deliver exceptional outcomes for ever-growing numbers of students and alums. You’ll work to build partnerships with premium tech employers to drive value for Fullstack, our students, and those employers. You’ll develop programming and events for students, alums and employers. You’ll drive the creation of content on various job-search topics to make sure our students are prepared and feel comfortable and confident to face the tech recruiting process.
This role is US based, remote and reports directly to our SVP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
Employer Relationship Development and Management:
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships with regional and national employers across diverse industries.
- Conduct targeted outreach and networking to expand the employer network and generate new hiring opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of employer contacts and engagement activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employer inquiries and recruitment needs.
- Maintain and strengthen existing employer relationships through regular communication and engagement.
- Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Organize and execute on campus and virtual recruiting events.
Team Leadership:
- Guide the creation of content, resources and programming for the suite of programs offered to Fullstack Academy students to ensure they are ready for their new careers.
- Create and launch new career services products and content targeted to provide value to our alums on their job search and beyond.
- Lead a team of career success professionals in both business development and career coaching roles.
- Develop, design and implement systems to meticulously track placement status and outcomes of every graduate and meet key metrics related to students’ professional outcomes.
- Stay on top of hiring trends and continuously develop our Career Success curriculum to ensure that students are equipped to land their dream jobs.
QUALIFICATIONS
You’re a great candidate if you have:
- 5+ years experience in agency or programmatic recruiting, or leading a career services function at a major university system or edtech organization with a proven commitment to driving outcomes for students.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development or Partnership Development.
- Your experience and success is reflected in an established list of hiring contacts at employers hiring for technology roles that you have developed.
- A deep understanding of the goals, processes, and nuances of Tech Recruiting.
- The ability to conceptualize and design systems and processes that can meet our placement goals at scale, such as communication automation, etc.
- A data-driven approach to identifying, targeting and driving action on challenges.
- Experience leading a team.
- A passion for mentoring others to succeed.

- A passion for creating positive outcomes in people’s lives through education.

COMPENSATION: Base salary starting $75K annually.
