In our U.S. locations, we operate on a hybrid work model with three in-office days and two remote days per week. Starting Q1 2025, we will transition to a four-day in-office schedule, Monday–Thursday. This in-office time fosters creativity, innovation, communication, and stronger team relationships, supporting both individual and organizational success.
Job Description
Under the leadership of the Director, the Senior Manager, Accreditation and Professional Regulation, will be at the forefront of coordinating regulatory approval efforts with state and territory Boards of Nursing for both new and existing campuses. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining relationships with state boards and regulatory staff, acting as the key liaison for campus presidents, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong connections with state regulatory agencies to pave the way for new campus developments.
- Institutional Representation: Represent our institution to regulatory agencies, supporting both new campus initiatives and existing program changes.
- Regulatory Management: Oversee the approval processes for campus programs, including documentation, submission timing, visits, and responses.
- Collaborative Oversight: Work with the editor/writer to prepare and submit applications, self-studies, and reports, ensuring compliance with state nursing board requirements.
- Compliance Leadership: Ensure timely and appropriate handling of licensing and compliance issues in coordination with corporate departments.
- Expert Resource: Serve as a resource for the compliance department on State Boards of Nursing regulatory approval matters.
- Curriculum Guidance: Provide input on undergraduate prelicensure curriculum development to meet state and professional standards.
- Employee Qualification Assessment: Review and assess qualifications for new and existing campus staff, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Advisory Committee Leadership: Establish and support new campus and online advisory committees, attending meetings as needed.
- Accreditation Support: Assist in the development and submission of professional accreditation change reports.
- Mock Assessments: Participate in mock self-assessment activities, guiding and coaching faculty and staff through the accreditation process.
- Committee Participation: Serve on committees to ensure regulatory compliance and provide input on new campus development.
- Policy Monitoring: Ensure fair application of student and academic policies in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Travel: Travel as needed to fulfill essential duties and responsibilities.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to all policies and standards.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree required, preferrably in nursing, PhD in nursing or a related discipline preferred.
- Five years of teaching and/or management experience in a higher education setting and experience with assessment, accreditation and regulatory approval processes required.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and develop positive relationships with state agency personnel.
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess state requirements that may not be explicit.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing, editing, and computer skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time, including occasional overnight or out-of-state trips, as business needs require.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $80336.75 and $140851.54. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
