All About the Role:

The Senior Lead UX Researcher will help lead quantitative and qualitative research efforts and customer data analysis for Majesco's current digital product user experiences to drive experience quality improvement across all of Majesco's digital platform offerings. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end usability and user experience for all of Majesco's digital applications and products.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Practice and lead the analysis of customer data and analytics, and conduct quantitative and qualitative scientific user research investigations and studies - including benchmark/comparative analysis, user interviews and panels, surveys, remote and in-person moderated and unmoderated studies, and other user experience research efforts and studies - translating all findings into actionable insights, opportunities, and recommendations regarding experience performance, and customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to drive quality improvements to Majesco's product experiences.
  • Practice and lead all user experience research activities in collaboration with our UX strategy and design, product, and technical development partners across multiple agile teams, delivering easily-digestible, actionable results, identifying opportunities and prioritization, and driving experience quality improvements across all of Majesco's digital products.
  • Collaborate with UX strategy and design, product, and technical development partners across diverse, remote agile teams to define the best research investigation approach, analyze customer data, identify solicit test participants, plan and conduct benchmark, moderated, and unmoderated studies and other user research activities, and deliver actionable, prioritized findings to stakeholders and leadership teams. 
  • Proactively assess, estimate, schedule, track, and report all work, and initiate work on new efforts.
  • Manage coordination of all related experience deliverables & artifacts across all stakeholder touchpoints.
  • Drive improvements in UX research validity, reliability, accuracy, and quality, and continuously strive to improve innovation and the value and efficiency of research methods and data collection.
  • Identify, implement, and drive the adoption of new and emerging UX research techniques, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Assess, develop, measure, track, and report key customer, business, and financial KPIs across the user experience.
  • May manage and oversee user experience research activities of junior staff, external partners, and third-party vendors as required. May identify, research, solicit, engage with, and manage the work products and deliverables of third-party vendors as needed.
  • Serve as a senior customer experience advocate, evangelize the value of user experience quality and research, represent the voice of the customer, and consult and advise on user experience issues and questions as needed.
  • Assess, anticipate, and manage risks, issues, and escalations, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of user experience research and analysis work with zero defects.
  • Manage and facilitate the seamless transition of work and research across teams as needed.
  • Work without supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment. 
  • May mentor, teach, coach, supervise, and direct junior staff.

What You will Bring: 

A successful Sr. Lead UX Researcher candidate should excel in the following areas:

  • Strong research, data analysis, and organizational skills.
  • B2B, SaaS, PaaS, or similar industry-leading user research experience for digital software.
  • A successful track record of leading a broad variety of user research studies and investigations.
  • Experience creating and leading customer panels, surveys, moderated and unmoderated testing, and related customer research activities.
  • The ability to analyze customer metrics and analytic data from a variety of sources, and the ability to summarize and synthesize findings into actionable results.
  • The ability to effortlessly communicate research findings and user insights by developing and delivering a compelling factual storyline.
  • The ability to operationalize research findings into tactical results and inform product quality improvement from concept and ideation through creation and development.
  • The ability to think outside the box and strategize innovative research and experience solutions.
  • A passion for driving user experience quality and solving problems.
  • The ability to solution and innovate on the fly and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Collaboration as a true partner across diverse teams to drive results.
  • Strong leadership skills, and experience mentoring, teaching, coaching, supervising, and directing junior staff.
  • Experience evangelizing user experience needs and benefits and advocating on the behalf of end users.

All About You:

  • Requires a minimum of 7-10 years of experience leading UX research and data analysis. Human Factors International (HFI) Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA), and SAFe certifications are a plus, but are not required.
  • Requires advanced experience working with software-based technologies (cloud, SaaS, APIs, microservices, etc.); extensive experience leading user experience research and customer experience data assessment and analysis for B2B digital software products; experience with working in SAFe and similar fast-paced agile environments; experience recruiting for, moderating, and leading customer panels, user testing, and surveys; extensive experience working with a broad variety of user experience methodologies, tools, and metrics (e.g., benchmark studies, card sorts, tree tests, eyetracking, RITE, Krug, SUS, SUM, etc.); extensive experience gathering and analyzing data and metrics; experience with UX research and survey software; and thorough knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Additionally requires strong working knowledge of UX and UI design, brand principles, information & visual hierarchy, layout, grids, color theory, typography, imagery, etc.. 
  • Must have experience analyzing and assessing accessible design and experiences (e.g., 508, WCAG, etc.).

Other Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, User Experience, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 

 

What Majesco Offers:

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency.  The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000.  

Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors.  Majesco considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
