Key Position Details:

We are seeking an IT Project Manager adept at monitoring performance SLAs and managing day-to-day partnership operations. This role involves active participation in multi-level partnership governance, facilitating discussions, supporting the change order process, managing contract deliverables, and overseeing IT volumetrics. Job Description:

Plans, organizes, and manages projects using project management methodology and tools for successful performance consistent with contractual agreements. Supports deliverable tracking and reporting. Oversees key project planning, execution and monitoring deliverables including project schedule plan, projections, cost plan, and other subsidiary plans as components of the overall project or program management plan. Mentors team members and peers.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Provides project management support.
    • Develops, leads, and manages projects utilizing project management methodology and tools.
    • Organizes, plans, estimates, and schedules assigned projects and tasks.
    • Assesses, evaluates, and recommends technical and business solutions.
    • Evaluates vendor product offerings and leads selection process.
    • Develops, negotiates, and implements project prioritization processes.
    • Balances resource requirements to determine project staffing needs.
    • Facilitates the development, negotiation, and management of associated contracts.
  • Monitors financial resources.
    • Forecasts, develops, and manages project capital and operating budgets.
    • May facilitate the development and management of return on investment analysis.
  • Supports staff development.
    • Adjusts staffing requirements and assignments in a matrix environment.
    • May provide input into performance reviews and corrective actions for lower-level staff.
    • May train and mentor lower-level staff.
  • Oversees quality management.
    • Develops standards for project deliverables.
    • Builds and maintains relationships with customers and vendors.
    • Facilitates gathering customer requirements.
    • Ensures customer expectations are managed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience managing IT project teams and implementations


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • 5 to 7 years of experience managing projects in a health care environment


Licenses/Certifications

  • Project Management Professional - Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred upon hire
  • Certified Associate in Project Management preferred

Pay Range

Pay Range: $51.09 to $70.68 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
