About the team + role

Robinhood is looking for a skilled Senior International Tax Analyst to join our rapidly growing team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This role will be reporting to the Senior International Tax Manager and support our international tax reporting, compliance and financial reporting processes.

It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you’ll do

  • Prepare and review U.S. international income tax compliance for foreign entities, including forms such as 5471, 8858, and 1118
  • Prepare and review foreign tax compliance including CIT, withholding taxes etc. across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support monthly transfer pricing calculations and various transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements 
  • ​​Prepare quarterly and annual US GAAP income tax provisions for foreign entities.
  • Prepare various U.S. international tax calculations including, but not limited to, GILTI, BEAT, Sub F, Pillar 2, and foreign tax credits. 
  • Support annual statutory financial audits and local tax provisions across various jurisdictions.  
  • Assist with VAT/GST returns filings and related reports for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Research, analyze and draft technical memorandum on a variety of international tax issues 
  • Support the tax department in managing international tax audits, payments and any ad hoc projects
  • Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or C.P.A. preferred
  • 4+ years of international tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department within a multinational organization 
  • Possess an understanding of ASC740 principles, as well as in-depth knowledge of U.S. international and foreign tax compliance and provisions. 
  • Strong computer skills utilizing MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Eagerness to learn 
  • High attention to detail and can drive projects to completion in a deadline driven environment 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Inventive, resourceful and have remarkable analytical and problem solving abilities 
  • Can communicate sophisticated tax concepts in ways that are meaningful to non-tax professionals

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
