Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Interagency Action Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to represent FutureG at designated senior intelligence working groups and committees, presenting on position of significant analytical issues.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Represents FG at designated senior external intelligence working groups and committees, presenting the components position on significant analytical issues and identifying requirements to leverage existing or emerging operational initiatives in support of the FG mission.
- Leads the coordination of engagements between FG and interagency stakeholders for targeted exchanges of technical information and analysis in support of the warfighter and strategic commercial partners.
- Assesses FG capabilities and identify focus areas for technology development aligned with warfighter and emerging intelligence requirements.
- Ensures FG is informed of strategic planning and crisis response activities within the interagency area of responsibility through senior level personal contacts and development of personal relationships with a wide variety of DoD, US Government (USG) staffs and offices, intelligence senior executives and commercial business intelligence sources.
- Perform component liaison work to include analyzing, researching, and formulating official responses to requests from interagency partners, CCMD General, Flag Officers, and staffs
- Develops Secret and Top-Secret level CATMS responses, white-papers and briefings identifying FG projects and initiatives that nest within National Defense Strategy objectives and National Intelligence Priorities Framework.
- Supports task scoping and prepares complex, accurate, and technically rigorous classified communications artifacts of adversary components, nodes, networks and/or systems based on multiple structured and unstructured intelligence sources to produce engagement solutions in support of FG planning and operational support requests.
- Identify critical systems, theater elements and vulnerabilities, prioritizes FG engagement options to meet specific objectives, and provides qualitative and/or quantitative estimations of effectiveness for recommended engagement options.
- Coordinates across department and with external stakeholders/partners on key technical initiatives supporting strategic objectives/technical vision. Ensures external/internal technical communications are sound, robust, and aligned with DoD strategic intent, policy, guidance, and directives. Provides technical and operational guidance for resolution of controversial/critical issues.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of corporate/industry communications and strategic management.
- 4+ years’ experience working with DoD’s RDT&E programs.
- 10+ years of US Government or DoD acquisitions and Congressional legislative process experience.
- Experience working with DoD’s Acquisition & Sustainment desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Department of Defense goals and objectives for FutureG requirements as they pertain to military and the U.S. Government focus of development of future wireless communication implementation efforts.
- Master’s in business administration (M.B.A.)
- TS/SCI government clearance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated expertise in working inside the Department of Defense (DoD) at both the Service level and Joint/Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) level, Intelligence Community, and senior-most industry executives with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with DoD’s Research, Development, Testing & Evaluation prototyping community (i.e., Joint Capability Technology Demonstration).
- Experience supporting, working in, understanding, and responding to Key Operational Problems (KPOs), Joint Emerging/Urgent Operational Needs (JEON/JUON), and similar requests in support of operational needs.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating with Fortune-100 C-level executives and producing exquisite industry-class communication artifacts.
- Uncompromising high-level writing skills with demonstrable ability to distil highly complex. technical concepts and military/intelligence objectives in logical, concise, and action-oriented artifacts for senior level review and recommendations.
