The National Security Sector of Leidos is seeking a Sr. Instructor – SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) Course to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program.

This role is PART TIME - This will be an ongoing part-time position, with 10 hours one month and at least 20 hours the following month for an extended period of time. 100% remote and security clearance not required.

You will support Government staff in the following:

• Need a physical security specialist with demonstrated expertise in SCIF-705 series or Dod Manual SAPF building and accreditation knowledge.

• Would be online the entire course (up to 20 hours per session) and would have 10 hours the month prior to review and prepare. 10-20 hours per month. Courses run every other month; 20 hours per month when teaching; up to 10 hours preparation in the off month.

• Knowledge and expertise in construction and accreditation of SCIF-75 Series or DoD Manual SAFP is more important than instructor experience with ability to answer the students’ practical questions.

• Provides dedicated support to one specific office; provides general support to other Directorates, Offices, and Centers as required.

• Facilitates all programs to train all levels of personnel across the organization.

• Administers experiential learning experiences/simulations.

• Keeps abreast of information technology training needs, trends, methods, new materials, and techniques.

Qualification:

• Requires a minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA, Minimum of 7 years with PhD, will consider 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

• Requires demonstrated expertise in SCIF-building.

• Previous experience as a physical security specialist required.

• Previous experience as an Instructor in the Intelligence Community preferred.
