Your role at Sephora:

A Senior Cloud Linux Engineer who is a skilled professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and infrastructure. Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud and on-premise environment.

  • Infrastructure Assessment and Optimization.
  • Evaluate system architectures and conduct infrastructure assessments.
  • Day to day platform management and troubleshooting Drive understanding with peers and senior personnel regarding technical trade-offs decisions, standard methodologies, best practices and risk mitigation.
  • Design and Implementation.
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud/on-premise systems on Azure and datacenter platforms.
  • Evaluate and identify optimal cloud/on-premise solutions based on business requirements.
  • Modify and improve existing systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance.
  • Ensure the security of cloud/on-premise infrastructure by enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Protect data and applications from unauthorized access and potential security threats
  • Automation and Scripting.
  • Leverage scripting to build automation tools.
  • Script image deployment and bootstrapping.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing.
  • Interface between application development, support, and infrastructure teams.
  • Create knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation for developers and operations teams. 

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 7+ years experience for a proven record for successful project delivery and platform management 
  • 7+ years engineering experience focusing on SFTP/RHEL/SUSE/Rocky9/CentOS/Ansible/Linux Kernel/SSSD
  • Strong understanding and experience with Ansible, RHEL, Centos, Rocky9, and SUSE
  • Ability to work independently and general troubleshooting

The annual base salary range for this position is $132,210.00 - $163,200.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
