Responsibilities
- Assist with implementation of new indirect rate structures and cost pools
- Assume hands-on role in creating and maintaining accounting and financial models including development of incurred cost (specifically schedules B, C, and D) and cost impact assessment models
- Complete financial analysis tasks to support strategic decisions
- Assist with improvement, transformation, and documentation of financial processes
- Work closely with program and departmental leadership to create plans of attack focused on increasing operational efficiencies and decreasing financial waste
- Complete Ad Hoc projects and analysis as needed
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting and/or project control in the federal government contracts space
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge and experience with indirect rate creation, budget modeling, forecasting, and dashboard reporting
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
- Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, and Apptio preferred
- Must be able to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Risk Position Sensitivity and Background Investigation
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across matrixed organizations
- Strong financial and business analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline is required, and 10 + years work experience
- Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Clearance:
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation
Remote:
- Remote, USA
- Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST)
Pay Range:
- The pay for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
