Job Description:
DTN has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who is motivated by a rapidly changing and high-growth work environment. The Senior HRBP will serve as a consultant and strategic business partner to DTN leadership, aligning business objectives and our broader HR and talent strategy. The role will operate as an agent of change, assessing and anticipating HR-related needs, communicating proactively with leadership, and seeking to develop integrated solutions that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
The Senior HRBP will also work collaboratively with the Global HR team to provide support and consultation across various HR functions including change management, organizational design, performance and compensation management consultation, talent management, organizational development initiatives and training, employee relations, and policy interpretation and application.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy. This role will primarily support US-Based leaders who manage global teams.
- Acts as change agent and leverages best practices to design and implement processes and approaches that support business growth, integration, and transformation.
- Partners with leadership to grow the capacity of the organization’s key talent, including high potential identification and succession planning.
- Implement and support HR programs, processes, and initiatives such as performance management, compensation decisions, employee development and recruitment support to align with business strategy.
- Participates in on-going talent planning discussions with leaders to understand current and future state talent and skill needs. Collaborates with the Global Talent Acquisition team to design talent acquisition strategies to meet those needs. Actively participates in annual budget planning/talent forecasting process with business leaders.
- Provides day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of HR topics including employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development, and organizational design.
- Works closely with leaders, managers, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solutions and program designs. Partners with HR colleagues to develop the applicable processes, programs, or policies.
- Leads various HR change management initiatives with global impact related to mergers and acquisitions, organizational realignments, and HR process improvements.
- Supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management, merit and bonus awards, benefits enrollment, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience across multiple disciplines, preferably in a high-tech environment.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or PHR/SPHR, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US employment laws and leave policies.
- Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions to integrate HR and business strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization.
- Experience leading change management initiatives.
- Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams.
- Ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced and complex, changing work environment with a high level of energy.
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
- Proficiency working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $85,000 and $120,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
