Senior HRIS Analyst

Overall Function
In this highly collaborative role, the Senior HRIS Analyst will leverage their HRIS experience to support and maintain Workday and other HR systems at EDF. This position will be integral in the improvement existing processes and development of new functionality, will perform release update testing, ensure system and data integrity, develop reports, maintain security assignments, support and maintain system integrations, and optimize how we use Workday at EDF. The Senior HRIS Analyst will partner with other members of the HRIS team and with teams across the organization to deliver best-in-class solutions in a vibrant workplace that welcomes diverse perspectives, talents, and contributions.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews, tests, and implements new system configuration, upgrades, or patches.
Provides production support, including performing scheduled and ad hoc activities and supporting annual processes, e.g., Open Enrollment, Annual Merit, and Performance Management.
Maintains the highest degree of data integrity by running queries and analyzing data.
Creates, maintains, and supports a variety of custom reports or queries utilizing reporting tools such as calculated fields.
Updates and maintains business processes and condition rules.
Documents process and results.
Assists users within HR as needed to enable them to utilize HR systems more effectively.
Supports other HR systems with troubleshooting, reporting, and maintenance as needed.
Maintains awareness of current trends in Workday and across the HRIS field with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques. Through classes, reading, computer based training or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
Mentors junior level HRIS Analysts

Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years Workday technical experience on an HRIS team or equivalent Workday consulting.
Experience in report writing including calculated fields, matrix reports and composite reporting.
Working knowledge of HR systems structure, functions, and processes.
Understanding of project management methodologies.
Highly organized, exceptional attention to detail, and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical aptitude with exceptional problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze data.
Experience working within a Global HR environment is highly desired.
Workday Recruiting experience preferred.
Workday PRO Certification in one functional area preferred.

Workday System Administration - Intermediate Level (Ability to manage the overall administration of Workday with limited supervision/instruction)
Workday Functional Areas - Intermediate Level (Broad and comprehensive knowledge of at least 3 functional areas in Workday with the ability to configure key processes and troubleshoot issues with limited supervision/instruction)
Workday Report writing - Intermediate Level (Ability to develop and maintain moderately complex reports of varying types and develop and maintain dashboards and alerts in Workday with limited supervision/instruction)
Workday Calculated fields- Intermediate Level (Ability to create moderately complex calculated fields and leverage those fields across Workday with limited supervision/instruction)
Workday Business Process Configuration - Intermediate Level (Ability to create and modify Workday business processes, including validation rules, entry conditions, and notifications with limited supervision/instruction)
Workday Security Configuration - Intermediate Level (Ability to create and manage a variety of Workday security groups and maintain domain and business process security with limited supervision/instruction)
Workday Integrations - Basic to Intermediate Level (Ability to support and maintain Workday integrations and EIBs with moderate to limited supervision/instruction)
General HRIS - Intermediate Level (Ability to support and maintain a variety of HRIS systems, including LMS and ATS systems, with limited supervision/instruction)
Project Management - Basic to Intermediate Level (Ability to effectively manage projects with moderate to limited supervision/instruction)
Problem-solving - Intermediate Level (Ability to solve moderately complex problems with limited supervision/instruction)
Process Documentation - Intermediate Level (Ability to create and maintain thorough, detailed process and change documentation with limited supervision/instruction)
Data Analysis - Intermediate Level (Ability to manage large data sets, and to leverage reports and other tools to analyze data and interpret results with limited supervision/instruction)
