About the Role

As our Sr. Graphic Designer, you will define and guide the development of Splash, Inc.’s brand strategy and visual identity throughout the creative lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery. You will collaborate with our Marketing and Product teams, identifying opportunities inside and outside the product to bring the fun, excitement, and human connection of Splash, Inc.’s gaming platforms to life. This role is perfect for a creative individual hungry to go bold and contribute to building a winning brand identity that can hang next to some of the most well-known, world-class brands in the sports and entertainment industries.

Location

This is a remote role only accepting candidates who reside in the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop our creative strategy for our master brand, sports gaming platforms, and titles/formats catering to different sports audiences.
  • Elevate the brand by creating a distinctive brand voice and visual identity that resonates with our target audiences while ensuring we show up as world-class on the sports stage and drive its evolution as we grow.
  • Partner closely with marketing and product to inform our visual presence across various platforms, including the web, mobile web, and app.
  • Drive the design process from concept development and strategic implementation to hands-on visual design and asset creation.
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to build out performance-driven advertising campaign programs, up-level product launches, social assets, email design, and website pages.
  • Create efficiency within our design operations, managing the creative backlog and roadmap, ensuring work is prioritized and executed to meet business timelines and goals.
  • Provide a leading voice in design critiques through thoughtful feedback and strategic insights across product and design teams.
  • Create the variety of assets that fuel the marketing machine: graphics for our social and web presence, email, in-app, marketing materials, and beyond!

What You Bring

  • 7+ years experience in Graphic Design, with a compelling and visually striking portfolio that exhibits a passion for your craft and a strong ability for conceptual work.
  • You are more than willing; You are excited to roll up your sleeves and push pixels daily to create a gamut of assets. Where specialized skills are required, you know how to find the right people or are eager to learn a new tool to get things done.
  • You know how to develop empathy for users. Eagerness to delight them and discover and resolve their pain points fuels your work.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and can embrace the scrappy, chaotic early days of a start-up environment. You derive joy from creating clarity for yourself and others.
  • You thrive when pushing new creative frontiers, exploring bold ideas, and crafting compelling narratives in various mediums.
  • You are known for clear, direct communication (written and verbal) and collaborating well with cross-functional groups.
  • You have experience working with external agencies/contractors.
  • Preferred: experience in sports or games industries, or, in the absence of direct experience, a strong personal affinity for sports or gaming.
  • Familiarity with Framer web CMS a big plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in the creative or design field.

As a Splash team member, you’ll receive a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:

  • A competitive annual salary range of $130,000-$150,000. This range may be modified and final compensation may vary based on work experience and skill level
