Position Overview

We're seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our technology team. This role primarily focuses on our React-based business applications while also maintaining our WordPress presence. The ideal candidate will bring strong React expertise and practical WordPress experience to help us continue delivering high-quality solutions for our business operations. This is a fully remote position.

Compensation

Base Salary: $75,000-$90,000/Year

Potential for performance based annual bonuses

Fully remote position must live in the USA and based in Central or Eastern time zones.

Primary Responsibilities: (75% )

• Maintain and enhance our React-based frontend applications using our modern stack (React Router, Zustand, React Query)
• Develop new features using React 19, TypeScript, and modern frontend practices
• Work with and expand our UI component library built using Radix UI
• Implement responsive designs that work across all devices
• Write and maintain unit tests
• Collaborate with team members on code reviews
• Optimize application performance
• Document code and development processes

Secondary Responsibilities: (25%)

• Maintain and update our WordPress site and custom PHP plugins
• Implement security updates and performance improvements for WordPress
• Make occasional enhancements to WordPress functionality
• Troubleshoot WordPress-related issues
• Ensure WordPress best practices are followed

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Experience with modern React patterns and hooks
• Proficiency with React Router
• Experience with state management (Zustand, React Query)
• Knowledge of UI component libraries (especially Radix UI)
• Experience with CSS-in-JS and Tailwind CSS
• Working knowledge of WordPress plugin development
• PHP programming skills
• Version control with Git
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

• Experience in the HVAC or service industry
• Familiarity with business operations software
• Knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Advanced WordPress plugin development
• Experience with automated testing
