Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the Senior FP&A Manager will help manage and impact many aspects of the Company’s FP&A process. This person will work very closely with other Finance and Accounting team members, as well as C-level executives, Vice Presidents, and other budget owners.

Responsibilities/What You Will Do

  • Be a “right-hand” to the Head of Finance and FP&A Director, assisting on a variety of Strategic and FP&A-centric tasks
  • Own, improve, and update the Company’s operating model to provide insights into strategic planning for both our legacy staffing business and the scaling SaaS business
  • Own regular reporting to ensure revenue and cost targets are met; partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities for incremental revenue generation and Opex savings  
  • Assist senior leadership with capital allocation decisions by providing ROI analysis 
  • Lead creation of budget materials and own all equity and debt reporting
  • Assist monthly Board and Executive reporting construction, analysis, and deliverables
  • Own monthly reporting including budget vs. actual variance analysis
  • Lead monthly rolling forecasts ensuring all inputs align with internal goals
  • Maintain the integrity of financial information by establishing appropriate systems and controls
  • Assist in M&A and fundraising activities including financial modeling, creation of investor presentations, and data room management 
  • Supervise headcount forecasting while liaising frequently with cross-functional business partners and the People team 

Qualifications/ Skills - What You Will Need

  • 7+ years of FP&A or Corporate Finance experience; public and private company experience a plus
  • Experience working in a high growth, dynamic environment, particularly for a SaaS business
  • Willing to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Low-ego and independent team player who will seamlessly integrate into the team 
  • Mastery in finance; you should have no problem building a three-statement Excel financial model from scratch. 
  • Experience with month close processes - analyzing accounting team’s entries and/or reporting after the fact
  • Strong understanding of GAAP 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex financial concepts to a distributed and remote-enabled non-financial audience 
  • Previous experience with financial planning software systems (we use Adaptive Insights)

Compensation for this full-time position is between $127,000 to $200,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amount employees can earn during their time in the role. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on geographic locations, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
