Senior Financial Systems Analyst
Remote - TN, United States
The Sr Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the coordination and development of complex financial services applications, analyzing system problems, collaborating with financial services and other departments to develop solutions, and designing/testing standards and solutions. Work collaboratively with all areas of Financial Services to facilitate timely project completion. Participate in development of training programs related to financial systems. Work with financial services leadership team to identify information systems areas for process improvement.

- Provide guidance and coordination regarding system implementations, system upgrades and system testing.
- Review system access periodically to ensure appropriate system security; Research systems issues and coordinate resolution with departmental users and Information Services.
- Work with Financial Services leadership team to identify information systems areas for process improvement.
- Assist in identifying systematic ways to create efficiencies and recommending/implementing changes to processes, as appropriate, based on system capabilities and departmental needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum Requirement: 4 years of accounting-related experience
- Experience with Workday (i.e., Workday conversion and implementation, and/or experience designing, building, and testing Workday configuration).
- Experience with accounting functions, including strong experience with accounting systems, processes, and terminology.
- Demonstrated experience leading discussions and documenting business and/or technical requirements, and process flows.
- Experience translating business requirements to technical/system requirements.
- Some experience working with mid to senior-level business leaders.
- Proven performance in earlier role.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, tools and processes.
- Skilled in closing books and internal & external financial reporting with an understanding of reporting standards.
- Has understanding of how accounting operations relates to other business processes and drives process improvement project within team.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $86,320 - $154,960 per year for the role of Senior Financial Systems Analyst.Explore our exceptional benefits!
