We are actively looking for a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A group.  The ideal candidate is well-rounded with experience in corporate FP&A, budgeting and financial modeling. 

Responsibilities:  

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide key business support to various business partners within the company and the range of responsibilities includes:

• Partner cross-functionally to lead and manage departmental budget and forecast preparation
• Partner with business units to analyze and identify key drivers of risks and opportunities to help maintaining an accurate quarterly forecast
• Prepare monthly / quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysis
• Monitor key trends / assumptions on headcount, capital expenditures, and operating expenses
• Work closely with the Accounting team in monthly close processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy of entries
• Leverage Five9 financial systems to automate and scale current processes and reports
• Participate in new FP&A initiatives, including ad hoc analysis and process improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
• 5+ years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience or relevant experience in investment banking/private equity
• SaaS experience a plus
• High analytical acumen and financial modeling skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with planning systems such as Workday Adaptive / Anaplan / Oracle
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Basic SQL database knowledge a plus

Work Location: This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office is required.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
