We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager.The Finance Manager oversees financial operations for the Developer Education Pod within our Managed Services division, ensuring financial health and facilitating growth initiatives. This role provides essential financial guidance to senior management and ASG corporate, implements robust financial processes, and drives profitability.This is a full-time position, 40 hr/week during regular working hours. Candidates may be required to work onsite as needed for certain projects or key meetings.

 

Job Responsibilities: The Finance Manager plays a multifaceted role in managing finances, supporting business operations, and driving strategic growth initiatives inside the Learning Pod. Essential functions are as follows: 1). Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning 
  • Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions 
  • Collaborate with the leadership to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overarching strategic objectives 
  • Utilize Enterprise systems for data for workforce analysis and cost-effectiveness forecasting 
2). Financial Reporting: 
  • Ensure efficient month-end close processes and monitor financial performance  
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards 
  • Present financial results, variance, and analysis to ASG leadership, offering clear explanations and recommendations  
  • Report out on billing process metrics and identify metrics and report out 
3). Cost Management and Optimization: 
  • Monitor and analyze costs related to service delivery, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements 
  • Implement cost control measures and monitor adherence to budgetary constraints 
  • Develop oversight controls to govern standards and procedures effectively 
4). Accounting Management: 
  • Manage portfolio accounting functions including revenue management, AR, contract, management, etc 
  • Participate and partner with ASG corporate accounting in the billing process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contracts
