The Financial Analyst for Wealth Management will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the Wealth Management division. This individual will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, producing timely and accurate reports, developing forecasts, supporting the budgeting process, and reporting performance management. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure informed decision-making and support strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Analysis: Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support business decisions, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling. Provide insights into key performance drivers and identify areas for improvement.
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports, including monthly and quarterly performance summaries, P&L analysis, and other reports for senior management. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial forecasts that reflect current business trends and strategic objectives. Partner with business units to refine projections for revenue, expenses, and other key metrics.
• Planning/Budgeting: Lead and support the annual budgeting process, coordinating with various departments to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and consolidate budgets. Monitor budget adherence and provide updates on variances.
• Performance Management: Track, analyze, and report on financial KPIs, AUM, revenue growth, and expense management. Partner with stakeholders to develop performance metrics that align with strategic initiatives and optimize financial performance.
• Business Support: Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across Wealth Management to support ad hoc analyses, strategic planning, and special projects.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting, and forecasting methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within wealth management or a financial services environment.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power point.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
