Raytheon is looking for a Senior Field Service Systems Engineer, you will join our Centralized Field Engineering (CFE) organization providing operational support for the United States Air Force worldwide deployable program. 

This onsite unaccompanied role is mission essential and will be in Project Olive Harvest, Cyprus on an international assignment with additional compensation.

What You Will Do

• Perform product implementation, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
• Focused on team-oriented tasks while supporting the customer’s mission and initiatives.
• Ensure training requirements (customer and company) are kept up to date and completed ahead of schedule.
• Monitor, analyze and characterize the performance of complex data processing systems.
• Trace isolated faults and distinguish between hardware and software fault sources.
• Recommend, initiate, and oversee actions to correct faults.
• Maintain sensor equipment on aircraft.
• Provide support on the U.S. Air Force flight-line to operate and conduct pre-mission activities.
• Provide support for aircraft checkout prior to flights.
• Integrate and updated software and hardware.
• Work with a diverse team of users, analysts, and other contractor personnel, and customers.

Special Work Circumstances

• Working rotating shifts is required.
• Travel and long working hours are anticipated.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to get all inoculations required by the US military.
• Must be able and ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.
• Must be willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, deployed living conditions, etc.).

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination. 

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience.
