About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Planner to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This project-based role involves leading the planning and execution of both high- and medium-complexity events, supporting on-site experiences and off-site meetings at our client’s headquarters and other locations. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable traveling when needed.
As a Senior Event Planner (Part-Time Contractor), you’re skilled with and passionate about:
- Event Planning
- Lead the planning process for high- and medium-complexity events, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision, goals, and brand standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams including catering, AV, production, logistics, and setup to deliver seamless events.
- Develop and manage event plans, budgets, timelines, and run-of-show documents.
- Identify risks and proactively resolve planning challenges.
- Event Execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, managing logistics and ensuring all components are executed to the highest standard.
- Provide hands-on support for off-site meetings and on-site events at the client’s HQ.
- Adjust plans in real time to accommodate evolving needs or unexpected changes.
- Represent the team professionally and confidently with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Event Close-Out & Data Management
- Facilitate post-event close-out including data entry, recap reporting, and internal documentation.
- Participate in debriefs and offer insights for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to internal tools and templates to drive efficiency and consistency across events.
You might also have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in event planning, with experience managing large-scale, high-complexity events.
- Background: Experience working with corporate clients or in a fast-paced agency or consulting environment is a plus.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a talent for managing multiple priorities.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to commit to varying project timelines and travel as needed. Travel may be required for off-site events

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Event Planner (Part-Time Contractor) is $100 per hour. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
