Reporting to Senior Director in the Customer Experience unit you will support a team of engineers and partner closely with Product Management, Data Science, Design, and stakeholders on projects related to how Spring Health provides visibility into services to our customers.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Recruiting and making hiring decisions for open positions on your team
• Attending to the professional growth of the engineers you support
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality
• Ensuring your team’s components are supported operationally
• Maintaining a healthy engineering culture
• Manage, support, and grow the engineering organization responsible for building our reporting portal
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll define technical requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
• Mentor and guide our software engineers, fostering their growth and development through coaching and real-time feedback
• Provide technical guidance to our software engineers and stay informed on industry best practices, and emerging technologies
• Work within an Agile framework, with a focus on results over process

• Delight customers with new feature launches on a constant pace and predictable cadence
• Maintain high quality bar for delivery (test coverage, pipeline automation, etc)
• Balancing getting things done, while also building for the future
• Setting and tracking metrics for your teamHolding the team accountable for the scope of responsibilities

What we expect from you: 

• 4+ years of full stack programming expertise
• 4+ years of software Engineering Manager experience, and enjoys being a technical manager
