Location: To cover sites in Central/North England, from Sleaford to Newcastle.

Salary: £50,000-£55,000

VIVO have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our friendly and successful team, covering sites from Sleaford to Newcastle.

 

This is a key role required to support the contractual deliverables on the sites you have been appointed to manage. It is a role that requires the individual to be proactive and forward thinking to ensure that the Client is supported effectively in engineering and technical services issues, and to manage effectively and efficiently the SSoW and ensure it is delivered in a timely manner.

 

This role will see you define the extent of the systems and installations for which Authorised Persons (APs) are responsible for, issue audit summary reports and action plans, notify DIO of any defects or operational restrictions issued by others, agree with DIO any departures from JSP375, carry out site visits and risk assessments and advise on the requirements of JSP in relation to the introduction of additional works/project.

 

You will also act as part of the commissioning team for substantial additional works/project, carry out an annual reviews of the Safe Systems of Work and Authorised Persons, advise, where practicable project management and the local client on professional matters in the discipline, contribute, where practicable, to DIO project teams on matters related to existing installations and their interaction with new works, ensure compliance and adherence of with Health, Safety, and Sustainability, and investigate dangerous occurrences and accidents which occur while a permit to work is in force, report findings.
