Senior Employee Relations Partner

- Provide advice, counsel and resolution to employees and managers on complex and sensitive employee matters including policy interpretation and application, conflict resolution, performance management, progressive discipline and termination processes and practices
- Lead and conduct formal reviews regarding claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace concerns and other issues to reach conclusion and present findings for further action and proposed remediation
- Act as escalation for highly complex matters to provide recommendations that mitigate risk. Partner and collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure optimal decisions and outcomes are made through influencing, coaching, and providing subject matter expertise that balance risk and business needs.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), internal/external legal counsel, and other internal investigative bodies, as necessary to reach an effective resolution employee matters
- Prepare formal review summary reports, track all matters in a case management system, and draft proposed recommendations
- Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment laws and other regulations to provide advice, guidance or clarification for employee relations inquiries
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, related field or directly related equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in human resources or employee relations directly managing complex employee matters and investigations. Knowledge and familiarity with state and federal employment laws and regulations. Experience in working cross-functionally with employees, managers and business leaders in a matrixed organization to resolve issues and complaints. Proven ability to coach, advise and partner with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. Proven ability, experience, and knowledge of best practices in conducting workplace investigations.
License/Certification:
AWI (Association of Workplace Investigators) certification strongly preferred; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred:
Pay Range: $84,300.00 - $151,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
