Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Technician with a knack for electrical testing and inspection? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and have a "can do" attitude? If so, we want you!

 

 

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

As a Senior Electrical Supervisor, you will ensure top-notch delivery of electrical work and compliance across all contracts. You will provide second line support for faults and queries from field teams and contractors, assist in delivering capital projects, and deputise for the M&E manager when needed. Additionally, you will promote safe working practices and manage H&S registers and CDM documentation. 

 

The key duties of the role are:
 

  • Record inspection and testing results accurately.
  • Ensure premises, equipment, and documentation are ready for NICEIC inspections.
  • Conduct audits and assurance checks, providing coaching and feedback.
  • Fault-find, install, repair, inspect, replace, and maintain fixed plant and equipment.
  • Support the M&E manager in delivering growth strategies.
  • Maintain high Health and Safety standards.
  • Balance safe repairs with cost-effectiveness and provide asset condition feedback.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Fulfill duties as an Appointed Person and Senior Approved Person (Electrical).
  • Work in DSEAR zoned areas to COMPEX standards.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

  • Proven experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IEE regulations.
  • Ability to fulfill the role of Senior Authorized Person (AP) electrical.
  • Experience with various electrical systems (230V and 415V).
  • COMPEX experience (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving and practical thinking skills.
  • Excellent diagnostic and communication skills.
  • Physically fit to work in confined spaces, underground, or at heights.
  • Effective communication at all levels, especially out of hours.
  • Ability to explain complex technical problems clearly.
     

Qualifications:
 

  • 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection Qualification or equivalent.
  • COMPEX Qualified (desirable).
  • IOSH (desirable).
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to obtain MOD Security Clearance.
     

Location: UK-wide contracts with frequent travel.
