Senior Early Career Consultant

The Senior Early Career Consultant will enable the design and execution of our Early Career strategies. Focusing on attracting top talent by leading and innovating our program, including determining which student groups and universities Workiva partners with while leading and guiding incoming talent into our organization. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, relationship management, and program execution to ensure the overall success of our early career initiatives. 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and enhance early career programs, including internship and conversion hiring strategies

  • Guide managers and interns to ensure the success of our internship program 

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key Early Career partnerships (academic institutions, student organizations, and faculty) aligned with business needs

  • Create meaningful engagement opportunities in collaboration with key Early Career partnerships (e.g. career fairs, information sessions, hackathons, etc.)

  • Lead the recruitment effort for internship positions, ensuring a streamlined and positive candidate experience

  • Define program goals, objectives, and metrics for success aligned with organizational needs

  • Track key metrics to allow for data-driven decisions on program effectiveness and recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to further evolve our Early Career DEIB initiatives

  • Design and implement programmatic activities that create development opportunities to enhance early career professionals' engagement and growth

  • Drive continuous improvement through proactive idea generation and innovative problem-solving approaches to optimize program effectiveness and enhance experiences

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience

  • 6 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in designing and executing successful early career programs

  • Strong understanding of early career lifecycle, strategies, and best practices

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align program goals with organizational objectives

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing business needs while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality results

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions 

  • Minimal travel, less than 15% travel 

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $101,000.00 - $172,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
