Job Title: Senior Director, Solutions Management


POSITION SUMMARY:  


As Senior Director of Solutions Management, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Solution Architecture, Product Management, Product Development, IT, Implementations, Account Management, Operations, and customers to identify and develop solutions for existing and potential customers. You will have input into and influence the vision, product strategy and roadmap to grow revenue, while playing a critical role in developing the new solutions competency at CareMetx.


You will partner with Solution Architecture to develop new solutions that serve the needs of our diverse customers while also driving the CareMetx business strategy forward. 

Using your experience in supporting sales opportunities, managing solutions for specialty brands, or consulting for biopharmaceuticals you will design patient journeys that meet the objectives of the specialty brands. Keys to success in this role include understanding the CareMetx products and technology stack, working with Product Managers, Business Development, Solution Architecture, Implementations, and Operations teams, while being able to effectively communicate solutions to clients.  


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Client Solutioning

  • Lead client discovery discussions to understand business requirements and program needs and objectives in order to propose a high-level program solution to be used in the determination of pricing estimates and to pitch perspective clients to partner with CareMetx
  • Analyze and validate client’s specific requests, identify product gaps, and make solution recommendations as appropriate.
  • Develop all supporting materials needed to enable sales process as it relates to the solution, products, and underlying technology working with Product Management, Product Development, and Solution Architecture 
  • Collaborate with Solution Architecture and Technical Product Management on designing solutions for each opportunity and contributing feedback to build out new Solution Templates and Solution Archetypes. 
  • Design and present internally and to customers, program patient journeys with cost-effective solutions with the longest possible arc of benefit. Recommend solution configurations for specialty brands based on existing CareMetx capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Product Management on definitions of our standard solutions and development of CareMetx specialty solutions playbook which you will communicate to customers in the sales process.
  • Work closely with implementation teams to ensure client implementations align well with solution definitions.

Identify and recommend new product/platform features

  • Work with Product Management teams, Solution Architecture, and Operations to standardize the solutions in alignment with current capabilities across product lines. 
  • Function as the voice of the specialty brand personas to internal product managers; champion changes to existing platforms that will support the needs of patients, providers, and brands in the patient journey.
  • Identify gaps in our product and service offering as compared to the needs from customer feedback and meetings 
  • Document and validate business case with sales and customers including business model projections.
  • Operates as technical, product, and solution SME for the Sales Cycle to point of sale, Pulls in more technical or functional SME resources as needed 
  • Work closely with Solution Architecture to transition Opportunity Solutions when CareMetx is the selected vendor 
  • Functions as the voice of the specialty brand personas to internal product managers; champion changes to existing platforms that will support the needs of patients, providers, and brands in the patient journey. 
  • Collaborates with executives and translates their vision into action
  • Consults with product team to make sure there is a balance between business and product requirements and technical feasibility
  • Communicates and coordinates with the Sales team on new sales opportunities.
  • Assist business development team as a subject matter expert in responding to RFPs.

About You

  • Deep knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical services from the patient, provider, pharma and payer perspective.
  • Understanding the cycle of pharma manufacturer product launches
  • Experience with operating, configuring, or designing Pharma HUB services Strong
  • Understanding of patient access industry trends and drug reimbursement models
  • Strong understanding of provider workflow challenges and needs
  • Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they present or experience.
  • Experience in presenting and communicating key concepts and ideas across all areas of the organization, and to clients and partners.
  • Ability to drive alignment across product teams to build an end-to-end solution that addresses market needs.
  • Equally comfortable navigating internal, customer, and/or third-party vendor discussions  

Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure

  • Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative.

Qualifications


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8-10 years working in product or consulting experience working with patient access programs or healthcare technology.
  • Strong understanding of common challenges in the specialty patient journey.
  • Point of view on how technology can help solve patient access challenges.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing new specialty programs that meet or exceed patient support program objectives.
  • Ability to work with both internal cross-functional multidisciplinary teams and client-facing teams to drive to final solution design
  • Ability to articulate complex technology solutions to non-technical stakeholders and client business partners in a variety of ways (whiteboards, decks, voiceover)

Schedule


  • Must be flexible on schedule and hours. 
  • Must also be available to travel for internal/external customer meetings, when necessary, sometimes on short notice.
