As the Senior Director of Product Operations, you will be a key driver of growth and scalability at PayNearMe. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will oversee the operational aspects of the product development lifecycle, ensuring efficient processes, effective team management, and successful product releases. Your role will also focus on building, developing, and mentoring a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your strategic leadership will be crucial in aligning processes with business goals, promoting team growth, and maintaining high standards of excellence to achieve our company’s objectives.

Job Description

Process Creation and Optimization: 

  • Develop and optimize end-to-end product development processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • Define overarching playbook of functions and activities to be orchestrated as part of product launches, and standardize business processes, such as planning, product enablement and driving adoption, roadmap execution and reporting to facilitate and support product development.
  • Develop, implement and continuously refine best practices, continuing education to improve product lifecycle management efficiency and effectiveness.

Data-Driven Decision Making: 

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product operations and establish mechanisms for tracking and reporting.
  • Analyze KPI data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize product processes.
  • Support Product Management with data and analytic insights required to drive product adoption outcomes, improve product design/features, and keep a pulse on product health.

Product tooling management: 

  • Define, implement, and manage the product management tool stack: roadmap development, task/project management, customer and user feedback, product analytics, product performance monitoring, experimentation, knowledge base, etc.

Team Collaboration and Growth: 

  • Lead a high-performing product operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
