Your opportunity
Our Product Marketing team is looking for a visionary product marketing leader to drive the strategic narrative and GTM excellence for New Relic platform and products, working across the organization to develop and execute transformative storytelling frameworks that accelerate business growth and market leadership.
The Sr. Director of Product Marketing will define and implement product marketing strategy and messaging architecture that connects our corporate narrative with our platform story, driving both business outcomes and technical innovation. We are looking for an exceptional leader with deep B2B product marketing expertise who excels in high-growth, dynamic environments. You should be equally adept at partnering with C-suite executives as you are with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams. What you'll do
- Develop and own the strategic vision, positioning and messaging that resonates across our full audience spectrum - from practitioners to C-suite
- Build, lead and mentor a high-performing product marketing organization while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- Drive executive engagement and enable C-suite storytelling through compelling strategic narratives
- Define and execute comprehensive GTM strategies that accelerate pipeline growth and revenue
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure consistent narrative execution across all channels and customer touchpoints
- Spearhead thought leadership programs that establish New Relic as the authoritative voice in observability and DevOps
- Partner with product leadership to shape product strategy and vision
- Build strategic frameworks and playbooks that enable sales success and pipeline acceleration
- Drive organizational transformation through best practices, process optimization and team development
This role requires
- 15+ years of overall experience with 10+ years in product marketing leadership at high-growth B2B software companies
- Track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams
- Deep understanding of Observability market and/or related market domains
- Executive presence and proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in building strategic narratives that drive business growth
- Strong business acumen balanced with technical depth
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and building consensus at executive level
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate vision into actionable plans

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
