The Sanofi Patient Support Services (PSS) team is focused on supporting patients wishing to access Sanofi therapies. This is achieved by offering programs that provide reimbursement and logistics support, financial assistance, and patient education. In addition to the program offerings, the PSS organization is also home to field teams that provide education and support to patients and customers.

About the Job:

As the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives – Field Engagement & Effectiveness in the Patient Support Services (PSS) function, you will be responsible for driving the development, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives focused on FRM-based initiatives and how they impact field engagement.  Reporting to the Head of Evolution & Execution, this position will lead cross-functional teams in the successful implementation of these initiatives, monitor their progress, and evaluate their impact to ensure alignment with the company's broader strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Initiative Execution
    • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives related to patient support services field staff.
    • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to ensure that initiatives are aligned with the company’s objectives and patient support goals.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership
    • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in the planning and implementation of field engagement workstreams.
    • Ensure that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across functions.
  • Working Group Lead
    • Lead transformation working group focused on field engagement, driving the development and deployment of how the field teams implement NBI and other field initiatives.
    • Champion simplified FRM reporting and ways of working
  • Program Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Monitor and evaluate the success of field transformation programs, using data and analytics to assess their impact.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities ongoing improvements for field team effectiveness.
    • Drive continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that the company’s patient support services remain at the forefront of industry best practices.

About you:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 7 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical product launches, patient support services, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in patient support services, product launch strategy, or a related area within the pharmaceutical industry. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA or clinical degree, etc.) preferred
  • FRM experience and leadership highly desired
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Experience leading first and second line leaders within healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and evaluate program success effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

The salary range for this position is $177,000.00 - $236,000.00 USD Annually.
