About the Role:

We’re looking for an extraordinary Senior Director of Field Marketing to drive our market presence and accelerate growth through strategic thinking and effective execution. As the leader of a growing team, you will be responsible for Field, Partnership and Event marketing efforts for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive demand, generate leads, and support sales efforts across multiple regions. As a key leader in our marketing organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, building our marketing organization, and you will have a direct impact on our bottom-line.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop & execute a field marketing strategy aligned with overall company objectives and sales targets. 
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a high performing team of marketing professionals across multiple geographies, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and product marketing leadership to understand market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop marketing programs to support sales efforts. 
  • In partnership with the Product Marketing and Integrated Campaigns teams, drive initiatives - events, conferences, and seminars - to generate qualified leads and accelerate pipeline. 
  • Define, implement and foster a metric-driven approach to measure the impact of field marketing programs. Seek continuous optimization campaigns for maximum impact and ROI. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including sales team, product marketing, demand generation, customer engagement, integrated campaigns & brand, and executive leadership. 
  • Stay current on industry trends, our competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies. 
  • Manage an annual budget for field marketing activities, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to drive desired outcomes. 
  • Represent Motive in customer communities, at industry events, conferences and speaking engagements. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling messaging, content, and collateral tailored to global, regional and local market needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications • BA/BS Degree. 
  • A minimum of 10+ years' experience in B2B marketing, including leadership roles focused on field marketing within the software / SaaS industry.
  •  In-depth knowledge of the B2B SaaS industry, including market trends, competition, and emerging technologies. 
  • Proven track record of driving successful field marketing strategies and initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and market expansion. 
  • Demonstrated ability to set and achieve ambitious goals, fostering a culture of results and accountability. 
  • Deep understanding of marketing technologies, tools, and best practices, with experience leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving measurable outcomes. 
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong inclination towards continuous learning. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing circumstances with resilience and composure. 
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate diverse teams to achieve their best performance.

 

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. Motive offers benefits including health, pharmacy, optical and dental care benefits, paid time off, sick time off, short term and long term disability coverage, life insurance as well as 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. For this role, the compensation range is:

United States$177,000—$270,000 USD
