Your day at NTT DATA
This role leads and enhances governance frameworks, systems, and business processes across our global infrastructure development operations. This role will be instrumental in supporting our capital programs for data centers and development projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in governance and processes, coupled with a solid understanding of construction and engineering capital programs. This role will start as an individual contributor working across a matrix organization and may grow the team as appropriate with direct reports.What you'll be doing
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Global Governance Vision & Strategy: Develop a strategic global governance vision and strategy for capital progams for data centers and infrastructure development projects.
- Governance Framework Development: Develop, establish and maintain a robust governance framework for global infrastructure development that aligns with organizational objectives and compliance requirements, ensuring accountability and transparency in all operations.
- Process Optimization: Develop strategies to streamline processes and enhance collaboration cross-regionally. Lead efforts to design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes related to capital programs, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across centralized and regional functions.
- Alignment with Regional Functions: Work closely with regional teams to ensure alignment with global governance and processes, providing guidance and support to enhance local operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, controls, engineering, and construction, to ensure comprehensive understanding and execution of capital programs.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with governance and processes, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Training and Development: Lead training initiatives to promote understanding of governance processes and systems among stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain resources for improved access to key information and reference documentation.
- Process Audit: Collaborate with internal and partner organizations to assess risks associated with process and procedures deficiencies and collaborate to resolve issues.
- Systems and Tooling: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve, enhance, or simplify processes through the use of systems and tools. Support development including chartering product requirements, establishing working groups, and supporting business implementation needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proven track record of developing and implementing governance frameworks and business processes in a global context.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the construction and engineering sectors.
- Work flexibility required as collaboration is needed across teams in North America, EMEA, India, APAC, and Japan.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel globally
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in governance, systems, and business process management, with a strong emphasis on capital programs in construction and engineering.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
- Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
- Close visual work on a computer terminal.
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Remain stationary for long periods of time
- Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment
WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Work within a global team across multiple global time zones
- Extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.
- This role is expected to be remote with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared space, and with the possibility of international travel.
- Must satisfactorily pass company-required background check process.
This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $ 195,000.00 - $ 278,500.00.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
