Road Map:

As the Senior Director, Demand Generation, you will lead a team of high-powered Marketers and be responsible for developing the strategy and executing all programs to drive brand awareness, high-quality leads, Marketing Originated Bookings, Marketing Influenced Bookings, and Return on Marketing Investment. 

In close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and other marketing teams, the right individual will develop an effective mix of marketing programs that generate and engage leads at all funnel stages. The ideal leader will direct and grow a highly capable and energetic team to achieve its goals. 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the ideal candidate will bring a mix of marketing experience balanced with tactical and execution skills in previous functional and team leadership roles. The candidate should blend strategy, creative vision, analytics, and organization, and enjoy communicating across the company and with prospects and customers.

What Your Ride Will Look Like:

  • Design and execute marketing programs, including initial planning and ongoing execution across all product families to achieve all marketing targets.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of marketers who develop and deploy campaigns and content across email, digital advertising, social media, and paid media channels.
  • Determine and plan campaigns including the optimal deployment of an increasing marketing program budget.
  • Lead digital marketing capabilities, including SEM, SEO, and CRO, and oversee our corporate websites in partnership with internal partners and external agencies.
  • Drive awareness and alignment of marketing campaigns within Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, and other relevant departments.
  • Continually A/B test and optimize, establishing actionable outcomes from testing results.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing Sales alignment to ensure program success.
  • Be able to think strategically and dive into the details to get things done.

Show Off What You Have:

  • Minimum 10-12 years in B2B Marketing with over 5 years in a Marketing leadership and people management role
  • B2B technology experience required; additional B2C experience helpful
  • Experience with trucking / transportation industry a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, executing, and measuring annual and account-specific campaigns across multiple product lines and customer segments
  • Proven success in B2B marketing methods and best practices specific to demand generation
  • Extensive understanding of digital marketing and corporate website best practices – experience in SEM, paid search, social and online advertising, SEO, and CRO
  • Hands-on experience working with Marketing technology, including marketing automation and email marketing
  • Account-based marketing experience preferred
  • Highly creative – ability to think outside the box to find new ways to generate interest and excitement among targeted audiences
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate credible forecasts and assess efficacy of marketing programs
  • Strong attention to detail during review of content and creative designs
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to achieve outstanding results
  • Highly motivated and passionate with the ability to adapt to change

Fuel Gauge:

This role is budgeted $160,000 to $170,000 base salary.
